課程概述 |
協助推動經濟發展已成為台灣的空間規劃師被賦予的重要任務之一。然而由於全球化及資訊科技的發展，近幾十年來經濟成長在空間形態上所呈現的劇烈變化，已無法完全透過傳統空間經濟理論予以解釋。有鑑於此，本課程之目的在增進學生對當今都市及區域經濟動態的理解能力，除認識產業發展與空間互動關係的轉變外，並瞭解目前重要區域發展政策的邏輯及內涵。
本課程從以下幾個面向來檢視都市及區域經濟，首先回顧產業區位及都市與區域經濟理論的演進，接著討論全球化下之經濟活動的空間重組及特色。最後，本課程將介紹影響目前都市及區域經濟發展政策的重要概念，如產業群聚(industrial clusters)、高科技產業園區、社會資本(social capital)、學習型區域(learning regions)、創意城市(creative cities)及智慧城市(intelligent cities)等。

課程要求 |
課程採討論形式(seminar)上課，由教師與學生於課堂中針對每週之主題及讀物進行密集討論。修課學生應(1)於每週課前閱讀至少二篇讀物並撰寫讀物評論 ；(2)積極參與課堂討論；(3)帶領至少一次課堂討論；(4)參與期末考試或繳交研究報告 。
